WHAT WE DO

we make Psychiatric Service Dogs a reality for those in our community who need one to help mitigate their symptoms of anxiety, depression, and/or post-traumatic stress disorder.  our service dogs are vital for the day-to-day functioning of their person.  these dogs are nothing shy of amazing.

by tapping into our lifelong experience within the world of dog training and utilizing the close relationships we’ve built within our Napa Valley communities, we can make certain that the people who really need a service dog in order to function on a daily basis get one. and we don’t stop there.

we also provide the necessary, on-going support to make sure this unique partnership is successful from the very beginning and throughout their lifetime together.

Community Outreach

part of the success for every Service Dog Team is the support and understanding they get from those around them.  it starts with family and friends and ripples out to include their greater community members.

that's why we make it a high priority to actively engage our Napa Valley community about the importance of Psychiatric Service Dogs and how to respectfully engage (or not) with a person who has their service dog with them.

we're happy to teach our dog-owning community members about the dangers and legal consequences of misrepresenting a pet dog as a service dog. and we're here for all of our local businesses to help them when questions or concerns arise.

we hope the work we do helps to tackle the stigma surrounding mental health — which remains a key issue driven by negative associations, experience and language.

Mental Healthcare Professionals

we strive to be an invaluable resource for our Napa Valley mental healthcare professionals.  and we want to make sure our relationships are lasting. that's why, since day one, our goal has always been to help you help your patients.

if you're curious about what a psychiatric service dog is, we're here to explain.

if you're wondering how in the world one of these dogs may be benefit your patients, we've got you covered.

if you're interested in learning what other types of non-service dogs may be of value to your practice or your patients, we're here to guide you along.

maybe you already know this stuff and have a patient who needs a psychiatric service dog... we'd love to help you find the right dog for them and to offer the necessary support for their partnership to be successful.

if you have questions, please reach out to us.  we'd love to help.  and we're in your Napa Valley neighborhood.
