about us

in 2020, we introduced our dream with only a single email. our plan was noble, yet expensive: provide psychiatric service dogs, free of charge, to individuals in our community who are suffering from a mental health illness. almost immediately, donations started trickling in from all over Napa County and then, from all over the country.  we raised over $13,000 in five weeks — more than we anticipated.

since then, we’ve placed our first psychiatric service dog with its person, expanded the people we help to include military veterans in the San Francisco Bay Area, and grown our partnerships to include trainers and breeders nationally and internationally.

we’re still firm believers that by helping one person we’re helping their entire circle of people — making our community healthier, happier and brighter one person with one service dog at a time.

ours is a grassroots effort that we hope inspires other communities.
